Christ The King 2019

The annual celebration of the Vicariate of San Pedro Bautista for the Solemnity Christ The King once more gathered people from all walks of life to praise, adore and serve him.

This year was somehow special for our parish as the National Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes received our King in the form of the Blessed Sacrament at the end of the Eucharistic Procession which started at The Most Holy Redeemer Church.

At midpoint, the procession stopped at E. Rodriguez Jr High School grounds, where the Repository of the Blessed Sacrament,  “kubol” was  prepared, while the Act of Consecration to Christ Our King was made. Then the procession continued to NSOLL.

It was heartwarming to see that despite the pouring rain, throngs of people joined the procession to be with Our Lord. May we always enthrone Our Lord in our hearts and receive him wholeheartedly as Jesus Christ the King of the Universe.
