“When you waste your time for others; you pile up treasures in heaven.” (A Homily Recap)
Strive to be the light of the world and the salt of the earth. How?
1) We have to stay connected to the Lord.
This is when we acknowledge and give testimony to the presence of God in our lives
Through prayer, the sacraments, the Holy Eucharist; appreciation of the beauty of God’s work in nature and even when we recognize Him in the poorest of the poor.
2) We have to be persons for others.
This is why our devotion to the Blessed Mother is important. She is the true model of being “the light of the world and the salt of the earth” when she said “Be it done unto me according to Your Word.” A true servant serves the Master well just like Mama Mary who gave so much of herself to others. Let us be like her as we celebrate her feast, the Mary at Lourdes. Known for light, hope, peace and healing for others.
