In a Snapshot

Our parish through the NSOLL Family and Life Ministry wishes all families well in this time of pandemic.

There are many things we have learned during this quarantine period and amongst them, appreciating the people closest to us most. We realized more than ever how precious our fathers, mothers children, and other extended members of our families.

Our faith, family traditions, morals and values continue to be the light that guides us in these dark times. We now find ourselves praying more together, connecting with distant relatives and friends, doing chores, preparing meals, and sharing laughter, among others.

We learn how to sympathize and empathize with other people in new and different ways as the current situation has forces us to distance and even be alienated with others.

We invite you to be part of project “In a Snapshot – Faith lived. Actions captured” and be a beacon of love and hope. The FLM aims to promote living out God’s teachings and showcase families that are actually carrying it out in their daily lives as we see ourselves through this unexpected turn with the hopes to inspire more families to do the same.

Share us 2 or 3 photos to choose from. This could be your family, as a couple, siblings, as a parent to child/children, showing an activity or anecdote. We will put a bible verse or quote from a saint or famous persons and post it in our social media. You may send it thru email at [email protected] with the heading “In a snapshot”.

FAMILY HOUSEHOLD PRAYER.
“The ECQ, and the inspiration brought about by our CFC brotherhood, has provided us with the wonderful opportunity to gather our family as one community in honoring and praising our Lord. It has opened the door to a better relationship with God and with our children. Our family now looks forward to every household meeting as an experience of love.” From our family to yours, the Palpal-latoc family.
LOOKING OUT FOR ONE ANOTHER.
“Ever since the ECQ was implemented, wherein works were interrupted and everyone was encouraged to stay at home, our worries go to our brethren who rely only on their daily income. Our community launched our own “Lingap sa Ka-chapter Program” and with concurrence from the leaders of the Chapter, we have identified affected members to whom we are going to provide our small help.” From our family to yours, the Ricafort family.
