HAPPY 35TH ANNIVERSARY to the PHILIPPINE PROVINCE OF THE ORDER OF FRIARS MINOR CAPUCHINS! It is a celebration of faith and humble service that started in the Philippines long before it was declared as a province. The Capuchins have been helping and praying for the archipelago since 1886. With God’s grace, the brotherhood grew within and beyond Manila, and silently witnessed the turning points in Philippine history. It became a custody of the Navarra Province in 1957, elevated into a vice-province in 1970, and officially became a province on April 23, 1985. May they remain faithful and humble in living the example of Saint Francis of Assisi.
