Update: Capuchin Brothers Continue to Reach Out to Street Dwellers Every Day

The Capuchin Brothers continuously distribute decent and nutritious meals despite the Extreme Enhanced Community Quarantine environment. Without regard to personal risk and the discomfort of bearing the 32⁰C summer heat in their brown habits. They cheerfully accomplish the process involved: shopping, planning menus, cooking, packaging and delivering all the meals prepared with love and sincerity.

Here is the Food Distribution diary for April 5 – 11 2020.

Monday April 6, 2020.  Mongo with rice, bottled water. Plus relief goods amounting to 70 packs of rice with canned goods and Jelly Ace.

Tuesday April 7, 2020. Calderetang Corned Beef with rice (110 meal packs)  plus 70 bags of relief goods.  There were inquiries for cash donation pick up and donation of food.

Wednesday April 8, 2020.  Chopsuey with rice.

Thursday April 9, 2020. Corned beef with sliced potatoes and bottled water specially delivered by Rev. Fr. Eugenio Juanilo Lopez, OFMCap.

Friday, April 10, 2020. Tortang Talong, Tinapa  with achara, rice and bottled water. Made possible with the donation of 150 pcs of tinapa with achara.

For those who wish to give cash donations but have no online facility or are unable to go to the bank, arrangements may be made to pick up your donation.

Donations in kind, like food and water may be entrusted to the guards at LSQC Grade School Kanlaon Gate.
