Every symbol in the coat of arms explains significant highlights connected to the Canonical Coronation on August 22, 2020.

The practice of using the coat of arms comes from the 14th century, where shields bore the unique mark of the family or person going out to battle. The symbols portray memorable achievements and past glories.

The seal of the Canonical Coronation is richly filled with signs and images that depict the journey of the devotion to the Blessed Virgin of Lourdes started by the first Capuchin priests who arrived in 1886 until the present time.

A result of the collaboration that included Rev. Fr. Eugenio Juanilo Lopez, OFMCap. Br. John Rey Baalan OFMCap. and Rev. Fr. Francis Mesina, OFMCap., their concept and inputs were artfully expressed by Heraldry Art Designer, Kendrick Ivan Panganiban  of DOMVS AVREA Ecclesiastical Designs.

It will be held at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes at Quezon City, Philippines.
