Radio Veritas 846 Extends Full Day Coverage of NSOLL’s Fiesta 2020

On February 11, 2020, as early as 6:00 am, the technical staff of Veritas 846, Ang Radyo ng Simbahan arrived at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes (NSOLL) along NS Amoranto in Quezon City. Sunrise ingress for a full day of onsite broadcast coverage of Fiesta activities with the theme: “Mahal na Birhen ng Lourdes, Ina at Reyna ng Tanang Kristiyano.”

Barangay Simbayanan hosted by Ms. Angelique Lazo, aired live from NSOLL at 8:00 AM. Rev. Fr. Cesar F. Acuin, OFMCap, Parish Priest, together with various organization heads were interviewed. During breaks, trivia questions were fielded, and listeners with correct text answers won souvenir items such as rosaries, statues, and other gift items from the Shrine.

At 12 Noon, the High Mass presided by His Eminence Honesto F. Ongtioco, DD, Bishop of Cubao, as well as the Maringal na Paglabas at 5 PM, Pagdarasal ng Santo Rosaryo at 6 PM and the Maringal na Pagbalik  at 8 PM were on Veritas livestream. Those who joined the two-hour procession tuned in to Veritas 846 on AM radios for the recitation of the Holy Rosary. To cap the day, Ms. Leahna Villajos interviewed Rev. Fr. Cesar Acuin, OFMCap, Parish Priest, which can be accessed at the Veritas 846 YouTube Channel.

Meanwhile, the Veritas 846 booth enjoyed brisk sales for religious and Veritas 846 branded items. And, from February 5 – 14, 2020 the image of Our Lady of Lourdes was at the Our Lady of Veritas Chapel, for the benefit of those who were unable to visit NSOLL.
